Complete installation and setup guide for LipaWoo plugin

Prerequisites

  • WordPress 5.0 or higher
  • WooCommerce 5.0 or higher
  • SSL certificate (HTTPS) on your website
  • Safaricom M-PESA Developer Account

Step 1: Get Daraja 3.0 API Credentials

  1. 1 developer.safaricom.co.ke
  2. 2 Create an account or log in
  3. 3 Go to My Apps → Create New App
  4. 4 Select "Daraja 3.0" API
  5. 5 Note your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret

Step 2: Install the Plugin

  1. 1 Download the plugin from your purchase confirmation email
  2. 2 Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New
  3. 3 Click "Upload Plugin" and select the zip file
  4. 4 Activate the plugin

Step 3: Configure the Plugin

  1. 1 Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments
  2. 2 Find "LipaWoo" and click "Manage"
  3. 3 Enable the payment method
  4. 4 Enter your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret
  5. 5 Set your Business Shortcode and Passkey
  6. 6 Save changes

Step 4: Test the Integration

Use the test mode to verify your integration:

  1. 1 Enable "Test Mode" in plugin settings
  2. 2 Make a test order on your store
  3. 3 Complete payment using test credentials
  4. 4 Verify order status updates automatically
